Firstly you will need to download the template (xls file). To do this go to Admin > Files and click 'Bulk User Template' under file title. Click the Download file link under 'File Versions/Sub Docs'. Save the file somewhere easily found such as your desktop or documents.
Add the information in the downloaded template for your employees' details and save and close the file. You can optionally remove the example data up to but not including the ============= line.
Go back to MyWebWorkplace and go to Admin > Files and this time click 'Bulk Users Upload' under file title. Under 'Edit File Header' (in the button bar) you will notice a link to upload a new file. Click this and browse to your employee template file and click Add. The new file can then be found under 'File Versions/Sub Docs'.
To upload the employee details with in the newly uploaded file go to Admin > Files > Process > Bulk User Uploads. Look for the file that you have just added and click 'Read in data'. This will show you the employee details that will be imported. It is worth a few minutes to make sure you are happy with the information you are about to import. To import click 'Add any possible user(s)'.
If there are any employees where their information is incomplete or wrong, MyWebWorkplace will highlight that there are some employee details that can't be imported and will skip them and import the ones it can.
